Advances in study on the effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on plants in remediation of arsenic-contaminated soil

It is important to study the role and mechanism of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) on plants in arsenic-contaminated soil phytoremediation. In this paper, it was introduced that ways AMF acting arsenic hyperaccumulator non-hyperaccumulator were different; then discussed from five aspects: (1) improved absorption nutrients; (2) would have participated reduction process As (V) (III) changed form plant; (3) transformation inorganic organic arsenic; (4) absorbed assimilates (5) could improve rhizosphere environment, thus affecting accumulation plants. Finally, shortcomings future research prospected promote relevant progress.
